SKB Vision
Dear Southstone Kingdom Builders,
Over the last nine months, we've seen God move in incredible ways, and we're grateful for His faithfulness. Thank you for partnering with us through your prayers, generosity, and willingness to serve. Because of your investment, Southstone Kingdom Builders continues to help advance our vision of Reaching People and Building Lives.
One of the clearest reminders of God's faithfulness has been the continued growth of Southstone Church. Since school started, weekend attendance has averaged more than 2,700 people. Every seat matters, and we're making room however we can, with overflow rooms filled and additional chairs lining our lobby. While we're stretching every inch of our current space, we're confident that God is preparing the perfect property in His perfect timing.
In August, Pastor Jason shared a two-week series on revival, followed by three days of church-wide prayer and fasting. Each evening, people of every generation gathered to worship and pray, strengthening our church and creating a renewed sense of unity and expectation.
We're also seeing incredible fruit in our next generation ministries. Every week, the teams in MVMT and Southstone Kids are building meaningful relationships with children and students, helping them know Jesus and grow in their faith. We're seeing lives changed as young people take steps toward Jesus, grow in their relationship with Him, and discover the purpose He has for their lives.
As we look ahead, we're filled with hope for all that God has in store. None of these stories would be possible without your faithful partnership through Southstone Kingdom Builders. Thank you for believing in the vision and investing in people. Together, we’ll continue to trust God to do immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine in the months ahead.
With grateful hearts,
Jason Robinson, Lead Pastor

Southstone Kids Dream Team Family Event
Our Southstone Kids team is excited to host a special family event to celebrate our incredible volunteers and the families who support them. With catered food, bounce houses, and time to connect, this will be a fun opportunity to build friendships, strengthen community, and create lasting memories together. We know investing in our volunteers and their families helps us fulfill the vision of reaching people and building lives.

Outdoor Playground
We're excited to invest in creating an even better experience for our Southstone Kids. Plans are underway to transform the fenced outdoor play area by installing turf, adding shade over most of the space, and introducing new play equipment. These improvements will allow children to enjoy the outdoor area comfortably, even during the warmer months. It's another way we're creating environments where kids love coming to church and families feel welcomed every weekend.

Department Highlights
Preschool Story Hour
This summer, Southstone Kids hosted six Preschool Story Hours, with around 50 kids attending each one. Every session was filled with stories, songs, crafts, and plenty of fun as kids and families built meaningful connections together. Even at a young age, these little ones had the opportunity to experience God's love in a welcoming and joy-filled environment.
Boys Night & Girls Night
Our Southstone Kids Boys Night was an incredible event with 130 boys and 71 volunteers in attendance. The evening was filled with games, worship, and a powerful word. Our boys experienced God in a powerful way, and we’re celebrating 18 salvations from the night.
Southstone Kids Girls Night was a beautiful evening filled with creativity, connection, and the presence of God. We were excited to welcome 140 girls, along with 80 volunteers who helped make the night possible. The girls spent time together making crafts, building friendships, and enjoying a night created just for them. The evening also included an amazing service where the girls encountered God in a powerful way, and we are celebrating 17 salvations.
Both evenings were a powerful reminder of what God is doing in the next generation.

MVMT Spring 2027 Retreat
Our MVMT Spring Retreat is a two-night getaway designed to give students an opportunity to step away from the distractions of everyday life and grow closer to God. Through worship, small groups, fun activities, and intentional time together, students will deepen their faith and build meaningful friendships with one another. Our goal is to offset the cost of the retreat so that every student who wants to attend has the opportunity, regardless of financial circumstances.

252 Summer Retreat
Thanks to the generosity of Southstone Kingdom Builders, this past summer, 91 students in 252 had the opportunity to get away to Boxwood Camp for two days to grow in their faith and leadership. It was a powerful time as they connected with God, encouraged one another, and discovered what it means to lead by example. We are so grateful for your investment in the next generation and the lasting impact it is making.
Youth Camp
Junior High Camp didn't go as planned, but God had something special in store. When road closures forced students to return home early, our team quickly pivoted and turned Southstone into a two-day Junior High Conference. 200 students enjoyed games, built new friendships, and most importantly, encountered the presence of God. What could have been a disappointment became a powerful reminder that God can work through any situation.
One Night
In September, MVMT hosted its annual One Night services, with Junior High gathering on Tuesday and High School on Wednesday to accommodate the growing number of students attending. Students invited friends from across the community, giving many the opportunity to hear the Gospel. Across both nights, more than 1,000 students attended, and 35 students made the life-changing decision to follow Jesus.

New Campus (Maybe Change To: Church Expansion)
We believe that God is leading our growing congregation toward a larger and more functional space that can better support our church family. We are seeking a location nearby that can meet our long‑term needs, whether that is land, land with a building already on it, or an expansion of our current building. Whatever direction God provides, this future space will help us serve our community, strengthen relationships, and invest in the generations to come.

Department Highlights
Our Old Katy Campus continues to be a place where people are finding community and growing in their faith. From Family Night at the Katy VFW Park to other fun events, families have had opportunities to laugh together, build friendships, and feel more connected to the church family. As those relationships deepen, we're also seeing people take meaningful next steps in their faith, including nine individuals who were baptized this summer. Every event, relationship, and milestone is helping us live out Southstone’s vision of reaching people and building lives.

Manna House provides men struggling with addiction a safe place to pursue lasting recovery and restoration through a life of sobriety in Christ. We are partnering to help build a new 25-bed dormitory to expand their impact. Their immediate priority is obtaining engineered, stamped building plans, which are required before they can secure our building permits. They’ve already completed the engineered drainage plans for the property and are currently gathering bids for that to be completed. They plan to have the shell of the dormitory finished by the beginning of 2027.

Forgotten People: UPDATE
The Forgotten People is a Christ-centered nonprofit in Guatemala that rescues and restores orphaned and abandoned children by providing a safe and nurturing home where they can thrive. They care for children up to nine years old, meeting their needs through shelter, education, medical care, and the love of Jesus. Through the generosity of our Kingdom Builders, we were able to build a much-needed well, so the students and staff could have clean drinking water.

Living Water International
For 35 years, Living Water International (LWI) has been committed to helping solve the world water crisis. With the vision statement of “Water, for life, in Jesus name,” LWI has provided reliable access to clean, safe drinking water to 7.5 million people in 29 different countries. Over the next year, we are partnering with this ministry to financially support drilling two water wells in Central America. At a base cost of $15,000 each, these wells will bring lasting health, hope, and long-term sustainability to communities that currently do not have access to clean drinking water.

Bernie Moore Ministries
The Jesus Festival, hosted by Bernie Moore Ministries, are large international crusades that bring the Gospel to hundreds of thousands, leading to salvation, healing, and life transformations. Each festival has a projected impact of 50,000+ salvations. This year, they plan to facilitate festivals across Tanzania, India, Thailand, Pakistan, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Brazil. Each festival costs approximately $130,000 to organize, covering venue setup, sound and stage design, travel, outreach, and ministry support.

One Hope
For forty years, this ministry has poured its heart into helping children and teenagers encounter God’s word in a way they can truly understand, through books written in their own language and shaped by the realities of their region. In places where sharing the gospel openly isn’t possible, they’ve found creative digital ways to continue bringing light into hard-to-reach corners of the world. By partnering closely with local churches and missionaries, they make sure every book reaches a child’s hands and helps them connect with someone who can disciple them. At just 33 cents per book, every single dollar becomes an opportunity for three children to hear the good news.
